The Yellow-throated Warbler is another southeastern species occasionally found in Arizona. Elegant and bold, it displays a black and white face pattern and a brilliant yellow throat. It prefers mature trees, particularly sycamores and cottonwoods along streams. Though rare, it is a regular wanderer to southeastern Arizona in spring.
